About the Project

Founded by two Yale scientists, XandY is a research and strategy firm that helps the world’s most important ideas and movements gain traction in public opinion and behavior. Because some of the primary barriers to progress on psychedelics are social, psychological, and behavioral, XandY is fundraising to create the Psychedelics Social Insights Hub — a continuous stream of social insights and strategies.

The hub will publish scientific research on people’s beliefs, experiences, concerns, and policy support regarding psychedelics in all 50 U.S. states. The hub will use the research findings to generate tools and strategy resources for advocacy groups to support messaging and campaign strategies that are tailored to their target audiences. This project will create the most comprehensive, valuable, and rigorous resource to date on the social science of psychedelics.
